One wine that wouldn’t exist without both.” G5 unites the Power of Five: five Gulatis — Jai, Somna, and our three daughters; five noble grapes; five years of winemaking; the fifth barrel in our cellar’s chronology; and fifty years of life for both Jai & Somna, turning fifty together. Anchored by Clone 337 Cabernet from Alexander Valley and enriched by Petit Verdot and peppery Lodi Syrah, G5 is patient, unhurried, and crafted specifically for this milestone.

Black plum reduction, dark chocolate truffle, smoked herbs, crushed violets, and exotic sandalwood spice are cushioned by seamless, fine-grained luxury tannins.

What the Name Means

The fifth and final piece isn’t just a number — it’s a milestone we share. 2026 marks fifty years of life for both of us, Jai and Somna, turning fifty together. G5 was bottled to hold that: not one birthday, but two lives, half a century each, poured into one wine.
