Born from the iron-rich red volcanic soils and black obsidian glass of Andy Beckstoffer’s high-elevation vineyard, JIAS stands as our purest expression of mountain power. More than a label, JIAS is our family’s sacred acrostic cipher — each letter weaving together the initials of our family members, culminating in the anchoring letter “S,” honoring both daughter Simran and Somna.

Lush blackcurrant preserve, dark cacao, volcanic earth, and graphite are framed by sweet Madagascar vanilla bean, toasted cedar, and firm, polished mountain tannins.

What the Name Means
